Fatwa Department

One of the primary purposes of establishing religious madrasas is to turn ordinary people toward religion — to give them proper guidance on religious matters and help them live according to the faith. This is why, from the earliest times, our elders (Akabir) have provided Shariah-based answers to people's every question — what is known in Shariah terminology as fatwa. Since its founding, our Jamia has carried out the responsibility of issuing fatwas with great seriousness and dedication. For this purpose, a branch called the "Fatwa Department" has operated at the Jamia since its founding. This department examines the family and social circumstances and situations of ordinary Muslims from a Shariah perspective and provides Shariah-based solutions to their questions and problems, both verbally and in writing.
